Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are a group of tests that measure how well your lungs work. This includes how well you’re able to breathe and how effective your lungs are able to bring oxygen to the rest of your body.

Pre-requisites- Since a complete PFT routine involves a combination of departmental tests like chest X ray, blood gas analysis, breathing test and more. Patients are required to take certain easy measures to facilitate completion of the test.
